SPM is pleased to welcome Griffin Thomas as Financial Planning & Analysis Manager.
Griffin is responsible for the Financial Planning and Analysis of SPM’s conventional portfolio including market analysis, underwriting support and property budgeting and forecasting. With 15 years of experience in multi-family housing, along with degrees in Finance, Real Estate, and Computer Science from The University of Alabama, he is uniquely suited for the oversight of the conventional portfolio’s budgeting, market analysis, and financial planning activities. Prior to joining SPM in August of 2020, Griffin spent 10 years with MAA, the nation’s largest owner/operator of apartment homes where he was focused on Sunbelt Markets.
“We are very excited about the addition of Griffin to the SPM team. His technical skillsets are perfectly complimented by his experience in the field. He is able to bring a sharp eye to our clients FP&A activities, which has been very beneficial to them,” said SPM’s executive vice president, Mitchell Smith.
